As Vice President of Manheim Consulting Kevin leads the team responsible for monitoring automotive market trends and delivering strategic insights to clients to help them efficiently and effectively remarket their used vehicle inventories through Cox Automotive’s vast digital and physical sales channels with the goal of optimizing financial returns and residual value performance. Kevin and his team leverage comprehensive, proprietary data sets as well as industry information sources to create deep insights into the market trends that drive client performance.
Prior to joining Cox Automotive, Kevin spent 23 years with Nissan North America in various sales & marketing roles including Director, Remarketing where he was responsible for liquidating a quarter million pre-owned vehicles annually and for setting residual value management strategies for NMAC’s $23B lease portfolio. Kevin also spent 10 years with Remarketing Services of America where he led the development of analytic tools and systems used by contact center associates to mitigate lease residual value losses on behalf of major banking clients.
Chartier graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin with double majors in Marketing and Finance & Investment Banking. In addition, he has completed a series of advanced, executive management programs at the University of Chicago and the Consumer Bankers Association at the University of Virginia.
