Mark Edelman

Mark is a Member of McGlinchey Stafford’s Cleveland office and Chair of the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Group. His practice includes the representation of banks, finance companies, and online lenders, advising them on state and federal regulatory compliance for consumer documentation; e-commerce; underwriting; licensing; acquisitions and divestitures; warehouse and other commercial financing; insurance; and structured finance. Mark is a graduate of the University of Michigan and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor on the Law Review. He is former Co-Chair of the ABA Committee on Consumer Financial Services Personal Property Finance Subcommittee. Mark is a member of the Board of Regents of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers and is a member of the Governing Committee of the Conference on Consumer Finance Law. He is ranked by Chambers USA in the “Financial Services Regulation: Consumer Finance (Compliance) – Nationwide” category, and by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated Lawyer. He is a frequent speaker at national programs on consumer finance topics.
