Mike Goyer was named senior vice president of consumer asset management in 2017. In this role, he is charged with improving the credit performance and customer communications for delinquent accounts in Ally’s consumer auto loan portfolio. This includes oversight of collections, loan modifications, repossession, recoveries, and vehicle reinstatements.
Prior to joining Ally, Goyer spent three years at Gateway Mortgage as chief operating officer. Goyer was responsible for retail sales, correspondent sales, retail operations, as well as servicing of the loans. Earlier in his career, Goyer worked for Capital One as vice president of loss mitigation.
Goyer earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, studying marketing and management. He is an active supporter and volunteer for Jardin De Gracia elementary school in Honduras and the James Mission Outreach, in Tulsa, Okla., which supports children in foster care and families in need.
